You've got questions? We've got answers. What hours are you open?
We offer extended hours between 8 AM and 6 PM depending on the day of the week. We will also be offering some Saturday hours in hopes to better serve the needs of our patients. Please see our posted hours for specific times. Hours subject to being expanded as our practice grows.
What ages does your office see?
We are a family dental practice that can see patients of any age.
Do you take my insurance?
We have negotiated to work with most major insurance plans and numerous other plans that are common to our local area. Our front office staff will be able to inform you if we accept your insurance. Simply contact us by phone and we’ll be happy to let you know and get you scheduled right away.
How does dental insurance really work?
We believe it’s important for each patient to understand the basics of how their dental insurance works and will do our best to educate and inform you about what to expect. Most insurances will pay for preventative services. If non-preventative treatment is needed there will be a portion covered by your insurance and a co-pay that must be payed by you as per the contract with your insurance company. We are happy to bill your insurance on your behalf for portions that they will cover, but also expect co-payments to be payed at time of service.
Why won't my insurance pay 100% for selective types of treatment?
Your insurance and the amount of benefits you have are dictated by your employer and the insurance company they elect for you. We are contracted with those insurance companies to deliver dental services for contracted fees that are at a discounted rate from normal fees. What insurance your employer chooses will determine how much of a discount you receive, how much your co-pay will be, if there are any deductibles involved and your maximum yearly benefit. As we are contracted to deliver services at specific fees, we are unable to alter co-pay amounts or deductibles. Please ask for ways in which we can make paying for treatment more manageable for you and your family.
I don't have dental insurance. How can I afford dental treatment for me and my family?
We believe that dental treatment should be affordable and accessible to as many as desire it. Regular visits that provide preventative care are vital to maintaining good oral health and key to discovering treatment needs before they get larger and more expensive. For such reasons, we at Hudson Family Dental are happy to offer an option that can help families receive regular preventative care and treatment at a reasonable cost. Please ask us for more information about our office dental plan that helps you and your family benefit from regular affordable dental visits.
